Yes, if you are a developer, software house or just want to get the most out of your solutions, Aruba lets you integrate the SMS service via API into your management software or your website and manage sending SMS texts using your applications. Potential uses of integration via API include: sending and receiving SMS texts directly on your applications; setting up SMS transmission on warning systems and malfunction notifications; M2M services; automated SMS service.

An SMS Alias is required to use the Aruba SMS service and to request one, the applicant must "not be a consumer", with a VAT number or a numerical Italian fiscal code, in compliance with AGCOM resolution no. 12/23/CIR of 3 May 2023. The Aruba SMS service can only be used once an SMS Alias has been set up, which can be requested from the customer area after activating the service.
